To steal a quote made by Julian 'Stinky' Emery a character from a Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce classic Dressed to Kill, ''I'm a collector you know, and a collector buys but never sells''. Alpha pipes have always been considered an absolute bargain when comparing quality to cost. After having moved full production from Italy to Israel, Alpha, greatly expanded their selection of pipes, introducing several new lines and shapes. Later the brand was purchased by Mastercraft here in the United States.
